This website is operated by Faith in RI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House number 17035433). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us via the contact form.
What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is forwarded by email to the site owner and is not stored in our database. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry).
Post view counts
When you read an article or resource, a one-way hash of your IP address is used for a 2-hour deduplication window. Your raw IP address is never stored. The resulting view count is retained for analytics purposes only. Legal basis: legitimate interests (understanding content engagement).
Admin accounts
Name and email address are held for authorised CMS users only. This data is not publicly visible. Legal basis: contract (necessary to provide system access).
Cookies
This site uses one strictly necessary cookie:
- XSRF-TOKEN — a security cookie used to protect against cross-site request forgery attacks.
This cookie is not used for tracking or advertising. No third-party cookies are set.
Third-party processors
- Hosting Provider — site hosting and serving (data may be processed in UK/EU regions).
- Email provider — contact form messages are relayed via an SMTP provider. The message content passes through their systems but is not retained by them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us via the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Retention
- Contact form data: not retained after the email is delivered.
- Article/resource view hashes: retained for the lifetime of the site; no personal identification is possible from the stored hash.
